A note from the Webmaster: The online forms linked below are new (1/21/2018). They appear to work but users can be pretty tricky at times. If you have any issues please contact me at k5atm@yahoo.com and I will help you or point you to our old form which has been used successfully for several months.

We have three options for joining / renewing Upper Rio Fm Society memberships.

• Mail in form. Use the link to the left to download a membership form. To save the form “right click” then “save as” or simply click the link the use the file menu option to save the form. Please allow at least a week to process.
• One time online purchase with a credit card through PayPal. This option DOES NOT require a PayPal account and is typically processed in 24 to 48 hours. After selecting a plan you will be redirected to PayPal’s secure site where you can either log in (if you have an account) or check out as a guest. Multi-year memberships may be purchased for a primary member and family members.
• Auto-renew purchase with a credit card through PayPal. This option REQUIRES a PayPal account and has the advantage of automatically renewing your membership each year. Memberships for a primary member and family members can be purchased.

By joining the Upper Rio FM Society you obtain repeater linking privileges and you help us maintain a repeater network that serves New Mexico HAMs on a day to day basis well as many public service functions such as Search and Rescue, disaster response, and many community activities such as bike runs, charity walks, and educational outreach to local schools.

We offer four membership options:

• Full Member: Granted use of the URFMSI repeaters, linking privileges and right to cast one vote on any motion at the quarterly membership meetings. Annual membership fees are $30. A PDF version of the operations manual will be sent to members in good standing if requested from an email account associated with their membership.
• Senior Member: Extended to individuals who are age 70 or over. Granted use of the URFMSI repeaters, linking privileges and right to cast one vote on any motion at the quarterly membership meetings. Annual membership fees are $15 per year. A PDF version of the operations manual will be sent to members in good standing if requested from an email account associated with their membership.
• Student Member: Limited to licensed full time students under the age of 20. Granted use of the URFMSI repeaters, linking privileges and right to cast one vote on any motion at the quarterly membership meetings. Annual membership fees are $15. A PDF version of the operations manual will be sent to members in good standing if requested from an email account associated with their membership.
• Family Member: A member of the immediate family of a Full or Life Member, who must have the same mailing address and must meet one of the following conditions: (1) Be a spouse, (2) Be under age eighteen, (3) Be under age 25 and a full-time student, or (4) Be any age if disabled or otherwise financially dependent upon and resident with the Full or Life Member. The Family Member has the same privileges as the Full Member (except for voting privileges). Annual membership fees are $1 per year for the same dues period as the Full Member.
